About the Center

The SBDC center was established in 1981 as one of the four original centers in Iowa and serves businesses in Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, Poweshiek and Washington counties. The University of Iowa center is part of the College of Business Administration and is part of the IOWA Centers for Enterprise. The School of Management provides the center with graduate students during the academic year who offer a wealth of knowledge and provide research, counseling and assistance on special projects.
