Workshop Series on Social Media Selection – Starting May 2nd!
LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, SnapChat, Pinterest, Instagram, Live - Are you lost as to what social media platform you should be using? The Mid Iowa SBDC is excited to work with workshop presenter Laura Kinnard, a Content Strategist, Social Architect, Brand Journalist, and Online/Offline Experienced Marketer. Laura will help you decide which social media to use and teach you how to get the most out of the ones you do use such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
The SBDC is able to offer these classes for $20/class or $100/series ($300 value) with lunch included. Space is limited: 40 seats are available at the Mid Iowa SBDC’s Capital Square location at 400 Locust St., Suite 160, Des Moines. Classes will be offered via webinar as well.
For each workshop, guests can network with other small business owners and eat lunch from 11:30 a.m. to noon. Class instruction will run from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. The series includes the following workshops:

About the Center
This SBDC center was established in 1982 as one of the first four centers in the network and it serves the Des Moines metro area and surrounding counties. The center is located in Des Moines and provides one-on-one no-fee, confidential counseling to existing business owners and would-be entrepreneurs in Dallas, Jasper, Marion, Polk and Warren counties, in addition to providing workshops and seminars.
