A comprehensive summary of the health-care reform legislation as it pertains to rural residents has been created by the Rural Policy Research Institute (RUPRI) Center for Rural Health Policy Analysis, a division of the University of Iowa’s College of Public Health.

The summary, titled "The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act: A Summary of Provisions Important to Rural Health Care Delivery," is available at http://cph.uiowa.edu/rupri/ .

The summary includes explanations of provisions that pertain to rural residents and to the delivery of services in rural areas.
