Do you know what spyware, scareware, Trojans, rootkits and viruses can do to your business records? More importantly, do you know how to defend your business against them?
Two free cyber security workshops will be held to help small business owners learn how to secure their electronic data and protect themselves from a wide range of threats and vulnerabilities that could cripple their business.
The first Cyber Security Workshop will be held in Cedar Rapids on July 29, from 1-7 p.m. The workshop will be repeated in Ankeny on August 26, from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
These workshops are being sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
