FEMA: By the Numbers

As the deadline for filing for FEMA assistance passes, reports are now showing the total impact for Iowa.

FEMA reports 39,821 assistance registrations as of October 31, 2008.  Total loans approved for Iowa now total $785.9 million.  To see all the assistance numbers, visit the FEMA website.

 About the Iowa Western SBDC  

Welcome to the Iowa Western SBDC!

Iowa Western SBDC, hosted by Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, served the Southwest Iowa area for many years until it was closed in July 2002 due to state funding cuts.

Through a collaborative effort of Southwest Iowa business people, legislators and economic developers, the center was reopened in April 2004 and today serves 7 Southwest Iowa counties.
